Lower Cholesterol Naturally
Answer: The best alternative of omega’s is Chia seed because it does not have the toxins and chemicals that are found in many fish oils such as PCB, Dioxin, DDT and several others.
Chia seed has a comparable omega profile then fish oil with minor differences in omega 6 and 9 depending on the grad. However, more importantly is easily digested and much more bio-available then fish oil because it is a vegan food. Remember, it is always better to consume a whole food before choosing the oil that is extracted from the food through manufacturing processes.
Because in most cases, it is not extracted properly and with high heat. Personally I will always choose the olive over olive oil or the coconut over coconut oil or Salmon over the salmon oil. The oils are always my second alternative.
Hope this helps
